Age-appropriate conversion" subsidy programme (AU)


For individual measures, KfW awards grants amounting to 10 per cent of the eligible costs (max. 2,500 euros). Anyone who converts their home to the "age-appropriate home" standard is reimbursed 12.5 per cent of the eligible costs (max. EUR 6,250) by KfW.

Cooperative housing" development programme


A total of €15 million (2023: €9 million) will be available for the Cooperative Housing programme in 2024, which will be disbursed in the form of low-interest loans. A repayment subsidy of 7.5 % is also available. The maximum amount per loan subsidy is 100,000 euros.

Climate-friendly new build" funding programme (KFN)


A total of 762 million euros will be available for KFN in 2024 in the form of subsidised loans. Loan amounts of up to 100,000 euros (climate-friendly residential building) or up to 150,000 euros (climate-friendly residential building with QNG) are possible.

Solar Bonn funding programme

In order to strengthen climate protection, energy independence and social justice, the promotion of plug-in solar devices as well as solar installations in Bonn will be significantly increased from 1 January 2023. A "Power up the roofs" subsidy for buildings up to three residential units and a subsidy for ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, for example on car parks, will be newly introduced.
