Establishment and coordination of the interdisciplinary NSE - Sustainable Urban Development Network. Through the NSE, doctoral students, post-docs and scientists from universities in German-speaking countries in particular networked. All spatial science disciplines were represented. The most strongly represented faculty were architects (approx. 50%), landscape architects, geographers, landscape, urban and spatial planners.
2006 to 2014: Coordination, public relations, conception, organisation and multiple moderation of nine PhD colloquia at universities in Berlin, Darmstadt, Weimar, Harburg, Stuttgart, Dortmund, Munich, Karlsruhe and Wuppertal. Co-organisation of the NSE symposium "urban transitions" 2011 at the University of Wuppertal and 2007 at the University of Kassel.
