In addition to an insight into the work of greenUP, the focus of the internship or practical semester is onSimulation of PV systems, heat load calculations and the design of heat pumps, as well as the creation of renewable energy concepts for buildings and residential complexes. The internship can be voluntary or compulsory. The monthly internship allowance depends on the length and qualifications of the applicant.

Wir bieten eine Stelle für ein Praxissemester oder ein studentisches Praktikum von drei bis sechs Monaten für die Studiengänge Architektur im Fachbereich greenUP Architecture to.
In addition to an insight into the work of greenUP, the focus of the internship or practical semester is on: Entwurf von nachhaltigen Gebäuden und Wohnanlagen im Neubau und Bestand. Typische Aufgaben sind Aufstockungen, Anbauten und Bestandsmodernisierungen mit ökologischen Materialien und im Rahmen eines vorgegebenen Budgets. Die zu bearbeiteten Projekte sind in der Regel in der Bonner Region.
Es kann sich um ein freiwilliges oder Pflichtpraktika handeln.
Gute Deutschkenntnisse sind erforderlich.
Die monatliche Praktikumsvergütung hängt von der Länge und der Qualifikation der Bewerberin oder des Bewerbers ab.

- Participation in interdisciplinary, scientific studies and expert opinions.

You should:
- for greenUP ArchitecturePrevious knowledge and experience in the field of sustainable settlement and urban district planning, as well as sustainable architecture, are mandatory. Postgraduate studies, majors or further education or distance learning courses in the field of timber construction, building biology/home health, or certification are advantageous (e.g. DGNB, Institut für Baubiologie IBN, ZEBAU Hamburg or Öko-Zentrum NRW). We are an office that is primarily active in planning in the region around Bonn and Cologne, which is why knowledge of local building standards and construction methods is important. The most common planning tasks are renovation of existing buildings and new residential construction.
- for greenUP Building research: like to work conceptually and with texts
- have a degree in one of the following disciplines, e.g. architecture, urban planning, interior design, sustainable engineering, renewable energy, environmental engineering, geography or spatial planning
- Practised use of open source software such as Libre or OpenOffice, Gimp, but also WordPress is rated positively.
- Kenntnisse mit Software-Anwendungen wie z.B. pCon-Planer, ArchiCAD, LEGEP, eLCA, OneClick-LCA oder/und PV*Sol, Hottgenroth oder/und ggf. Sketchup, Indesign, Photoshop und Lightroom sind hilfreich.
- Erfahrungen mit Antragstellungen oder dem Einwerben von Drittmitteln und Fördergeldern sind ebenfalls gerne gesehen.
